Be involved in design projects , including working on new operations in the commissioning of pilot plants and leading plant based teams. Liase directly with high profile clients and have the freedom to explore different process design techniques to provide innovative design solutions to clients. Every project provides new and diverse challenges, from designing hydrometallurgical to pyrometallurgical process operations.

This role provides a flexible work environment, with the opportunity to work on site as well as be city based. Their expanding areas of expertise means there is definitely room for advancement within, the next step would be to lead multiple projects or an entire design section.

Having acquired a Process Engineering Degree and 10-15 years experience in a range of commodities and locations, you should be familiar with a project management organisation and be able to handle study management.

• Nickel/cobalt, gold and iron ore processing design, commissioning and ready for start up.
• Projects include; study for a nickel laterite project in Brazil, design of a tailings facility for a gold plant in PNG, extension to a nickel refinery up to $600M
• Autonomous teams, with Process Engineers in Australia totalling 30 and growing
• Scope for development into Principal role managing business acumen and commercial strategy issues
• Must have minerals processing experience in base metals hydrometallurgy and a Chemical or Metallurgy Degree, Chartered Engineer status appreciated
